2015-ben újra Budapesten / Back to Budapest in 2015

Hivatalossá vált a 2015-ös New Years Cup időpontja:

2015. január 9-től 11-ig várja Budapest a régió lacrosse csapatait és a sportot támogató rajongókat.

From 9th January to 11th January Budapest hosts the lacrosse teams of the region and the supporting fans.

NYC 14 lezárás / conclusion

Véget ért a New Years Cup 2014 versenysorozat.

A férfiak mezőnyében a hat versengő ország, a kilenc csapat mérkőzéseinek nyomán a szlovák Bratislava Tricksters tudott nyerni. Második lett a döntőig veretlen osztrák Vienna Lacrosse. Harmadik helyen pedig a német vegyes csapat, a 2nd Hand Lacrosse végzett, ugyanis a bronzmérkőzést a másik német alakulat, a Tribesmen Erlangen sérülésekre hivatkozva lemondta.

A női lacrosse verseny végülis a külföldi csapatok visszalépése miatt gyakorlatilag elmaradt, az oszták női csapat 15-1 arányban győzte le a hazai Budapest Blackberries-t az egyetlen hivatalos női mérkőzésen.

The competitions of the New Years Cup 2014 have been concluded.

In the men's competition six nations and nine teams fought for the trophy and finally the Bratislava Tricksters from Slovakia were able to win the cup. On the second place finished the Austrian mixed team Vienna Lacrosse which team has been only defeated in the Final. The German mixed team 2nd Hand Lacrosse finished third because the Tribesmen Erlangen forfeited the bronze medal game due to injuries.

Basically the women's competition has been cancelled because of the withdrawal of foreign teams. Only one official women's lacrosse game has been played where the Team Austria defeated the Budapest Blackberries 15-1.

We would like to thank the organiser team, the sponsors and of course the guest teams to attend the fifth New Years Cup. We're looking forward to see everybody again next year.
